have never met a person who spent time in
daily prayer
and in the study of God’s Word who was ever discouraged for very
long. In the morning, prayer is the key that opens us to the
treasures of God’s mercies and blessings; in the evening, it is
the key that shuts us up under His protection and safeguard.”
The Apostle Paul said,
Pray without ceasing.
(I Thessalonians 5:17)
Quite simply, we just can’t spend too much time in prayer.
Prayer gives us the opportunity to talk to our Lord and Creator
and to ask Him to give us direction and wisdom for each
circumstance of every day. It opens our hearts to receive from
Him and to draw closer to His heart. He will reveal Himself and
His will to us as we quiet our hearts before Him. We can then
bring our requests to Him and know that He will hear and
respond.
Thank
you for praying for the ministry of Martin County YFC.
Please focus your prayer on the following requests:

That kids would respond to the message of the Gospel and the
forgiveness that God provides through Jesus Christ.

That God would provide additional volunteers who desire to
connect with kids outside of the structured ministry time to
have fun and go through some of the discipleship materials
that will help them develop a good spiritual foundation.

That God would provide the necessary funds to meet our
needs. (call me if you'd like specifics--especially by May
15th/ 507-236-3849)

That the additional $800 would come in for the matching camp
scholarship funds by May 15th. Please pray that the
additional administrative tasks associated with camp would
be accomplished by this date also.
